This year Barcelona will host the 7th Global Forum of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact.
The objective of this is to try to ensure that the food we buy and consume, little by little, is local, ecological and seasonal.
All of this will culminate in the presentation of the Food Strategy 2030, which aims to be the roadmap of food policies for the coming years in the city.
There are already some companies that have decided to exclusively provide consumers with local and seasonal food.
These companies grow food that is in season and transfer it to stores in Barcelona, many of them can be found on our website.
Thanks to this, there are already many more people who have decided to buy their products in these stores.
These people affirm that these foods are fresher products, with better flavor and that in this way they also help the local economy.
